Hand and Arm Advisory Service
Hand and arm problems related to Multiple sclerosis can include:
- Reduced dexterity
- Upper limb weakness
- Sensory changes in hands and fingers
- Hand or upper arm numbness
- Tonal changes
- Tremor
Because they are hard to manage, these problems are often neglected in people with MS.

How we can help
MS can affect the hands and arms in lots of ways, which can be hard to understand and treat. We can provide a one-to-one session with a specialist neuro Occupational Therapist in our offices in The Vassal Centre, Bristol. This will provide the time and space to investigate your symptoms and advice on how best to alleviate them.
We also have various aids designed to alleviate problems with upper limb movements that you can try out.
This service is free of charge and open and free to anyone who has MS and is experiencing any these symptoms.
