The two Bobs take to the Devon coast once more for MS Research

When most of us are taking it easy Exmouth resident Bob Baker and his friend Bob Richards will be dusting off their hiking boots once again and taking on their annual 14-mile New Year’s Day charity trek from Sidmouth to Exmouth to raise funds for MS Research on the 1st January 2019.

Bob has been raising money for different causes for more than 40 years after a family member was diagnosed with the MS. Bob says “It feels good to be alive when you walk up Peak Hill, it’s good to know you can still do it. That’s my way of contributing, the new year it’s about getting up and about to raise money for multiple sclerosis.”

Abi Wiltshire, fundraising manager at MS Research, said: “We are so grateful to the two Bobs for their incredible efforts – that’s a very steep hill, let alone on New Year’s Day!”

If you would like to support Bob and MS Research by making a donation you can do so here and we wish the Bob’s the very best of luck!
