Today is World MS Day and tickets have gone on sale for Yard Life Festival 2018, a not for profit music and arts festival dedicated to supporting the hottest new talent while raising money and awareness for MS Research Treatment and Education.
Yard Life founder Jen Lloyd lost her father to MS when he was just 46, and she created the Festival with a few like-minded friends in his honour.
“As a massive music fan my Dad would have loved Yard Life,” says Jen. “I feel it’s so important to raise awareness of this disease that’s most common in young people in their 20s and 30s. MS Research are making ground-breaking progress and we give every penny of our ticket sales to support them.”
Taking place at Islington Metal Works on 28th April 2018. The event, in partnership with Spindle Magazine, will be hosted by BBC 6 Music’s Chris Hawkins who describes Yard Life as “a music lover’s paradise. It’s an awesome showcase of the best new bands around, all under one roof, raising money for an excellent cause.
Buy your early bird tickets here for just £15 and not only will your money go towards supporting valuable MS Research but you will be able to discover all that Yard Life has to offer including incredible new bands & DJs, there are live interactive art installations, an art gallery, BBQ & street food, aerial performers and all sorts of other hidden gems.
