MS Research Treatment and Education is a small but rapidly growing organisation aiming to help people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) by encouraging and funding research, offering education courses for people who have MS and supporting the translation of treatment into clinical action by supporting “real life” delivery of successful research findings.
Over 100,000 have MS in the UK. The condition is diagnosed most frequently diagnosed in young people between their late teens and early thirties at a time when they are making important career decisions, building relationships and looking forward to an active and productive life. MS is a complex condition that affects many different body functions and may lead to profound disability and loss of independence.
We are looking for three new members to join our existing board of trustees, We are especially keen to hear from anyone who can offer support and experience in corporate management, finance management or HR management to support our very busy and dedicated office team of fundraisers, operations manager, bookkeeper and website and social media assistant.
