Take on Challenge Tonic’s epic Slovenia adventure challenge and raise money for MS Research.
Travelling approximately 450 miles from near the Hungarian border in the east of Slovenia this is a 6-day trip for keen road cyclists who enjoy the challenge of climbs and descents day after day. Starting in the town of Lendava, the journey takes in outstanding scenery including vineyards and the spectacular Lake Bled. You will enjoy a stay in the medieval city of Maribor before kayaking from Kobarid to Most Na Soci down the breath-taking Soci Valley. The challenge will then take you through Triglavski National Park, visiting the serene Lake Bohinjsko, before heading down to Bovec and through the Karsk region of Slovenia finishing on the Adriatic coastline.
There is a £300 non-refundable registration fee payable at the time of booking with a target of £1800 to meet for MS Research and the trip includes 8 nights’ accommodation with daily breakfast and snack lunch, airport transfers, qualified tour leader and daily luggage transfer. Flights are not included so you will need to arrange to be in Ljubljana on Saturday 28th July to begin the challenge on the Sunday and to arrange return flights from Ljubljana on the 5th August or later if you would like to explore the area.
